Experience at VTM
You can be amused why I'm posting this picture. Its an amazing experience i got here in Vishweshwaraiah Technological Museum, by the effort by Prof. Chandran Sir to provide student the knowledge about Technologies. At first we thought going to museum on Sunday is a very boring thing to do, but when we arrived here the experience was very good. We got know many information about many tools and techniques.
The picture above showed is a 2 stroke petrol engine.
Now a days we won't use 2 stroke engines. Only we use 4 stroke engine for vehicles. Bellow I'll show the video how it works and some information about that.
Working of 2 stroke petrol engine:
Every upward stroke of the piston is a compression stroke and downward stroke is a power stroke. Since cycle completes in 2 strokes, that is one revolution of the crankshaft it is named as two-stoke engine.
2 stroke engine are inexpensive to build and light in weight. They can produce high power and are easier to start in cold temperatures. For these reason two-stroke engines are used in chainsaws and lawnmowers.
